This week I was able to plan a Lifetalk. I had attended all of them last year, and completely admired the people who had put them together because I recall them being so clever and relatable, which I was positive I could never do. Upon my planning with my partner, Trevor, I saw why they become so memorable. It was a lot of work and took many critiques. Even though I wasn’t present for the actual execution of the Lifetalk, I knew that it was strong and I felt confident in its ability to reach the teens. It’s moments like these where I realize how much really goes on behind-the-scenes as leadership and I’m incredibly grateful that I’m now able to be apart of that.
