Hello Journey Group!! This past Saturday was probably one of the most impactful days of PFO I think I’ve ever had. In Anthology Committee (the Committee I’m in), we read our personal stories. It was an eye opening experience to see how many people actually care about you. My story was extremely deep and the things that were in there were things very few people knew about me. The ability to make myself be totally vulnerable was something I’ve never really been used to. I could tell that when I was reading, people were actually listening to what I had to say. Also, when other people were reading their personal stories, I realized that I truly don’t know jack about anybody what so ever. You may think you know things about a person, but in reality, you don’t know anything. People fight their own battles every single day and as a total separate person, you cant even begin to understand what it’s like for them. It’s beyond important to always be kind to everyone you meet because you never know what they deal with behind closed doors.
