At the Slam Poetry committee meeting we chilled like friends do. We wrote in our poetry journals, talked, did interviews and read our rough drafts of our poems. Everybody’s poems were really good, but I’m not going to let them show me out, so my poem is going to be on point. It is survival of the fittest out here and I’m going to survive. After we shared our rough drafts we started to play Freeze Dance. The rules of the game were to dance until the music stops. When the music stops we had to freeze in any position we were in. It was fun, but we didn’t get to finish becuase we ran out of time, but if we would of kept going I would of won.
