What was your favorite event?
Ah this is hard! How am I supposed to choose, there were so many great ones? (not even trying to be deliberately cheesy here!) However, something that always sticks out in my memory is the red carpet event for the buddies before the show. It was an incredibly fulfilling sensation to walk down that carpet with my buddy and her family!
What did you learn in PFO that still impacts you today?
I learned that creativity and the Arts can be used to do enormous good in the global and local community. It was important for me to understand that being a performer or working in the creative industry is something so much larger than me as an individual and that the Arts are a powerful force for change and education! I try to keep this at the forefront of any performance I am a part of, and I seek out creative opportunities that benefit other organizations and people.
What are you passionate about now?
I am still passionate about theatre and acting as well as helping others. I especially care about enabling creative people to do their best work; I get a buzz from connecting people to each other and seeing what they come up with! Beyond that I care about women’s empowerment, gay rights, funny people/things and good peanut butter.
